Peter is incredibly enthusiastic about his craft. He followed his father into the trade before leaving his home town in Northern Ireland to complete his upholstery apprenticeship for a prestigious upholsterer in Sydney, Australia.
In 1983 he launched his own company specialising in bespoke upholstery. The successful company has continued to grow and is now a well-known name.
Peter and his team have years of valuable experience and an inherent understanding of what makes great furniture.
We’re a small creative company who make beautiful sofas, chairs, ottomans, headboards, pretty much anything. And they don’t just look good. It’s important to us they are comfortable and beautifully made.
By getting the details right and the finish immaculate we have built up a loyal client group from specialist companies to individual specifiers.
We want to make sure you time with us is productive and we want to make you something that’s unique, comfortable and delivered on time.
Over the years Peter has made all sorts of furniture from traditional to contemporary to unusual one-offs. Some started from a clear brief and detailed drawing but some just began as a quick sketch or idea. We will work with you through-out the process to make sure we get it right. The details: accurate sizes and measurements, cushions and cushion fillings, fabrics and fabric quantities, wood and other finishing touches really matter to us.

We loved this sofa. The stripey fabric, the shape, the deep comfortable cushions. Mind you, getting all those stripes to match took a bit of doing!

This two seater sofa isn’t quite finished yet but the fabrics work so much better than we thought they would. It will sit on a dark wooden underframe and legs. The circular bolster cushions, contrast piping and seamed button detail to the seat look great.

We made these fabric covered panels with deco inspired stud detail for the walls of a Cinema Room. They looked amazing! Great design by one of our Interior Designer clients.

This is a great, flexible combination for a cinema. A collection of armchairs with separate pouffes on wheels (so they are easy to move around) and chaise chairs – arm chairs with long, comfortable seats – so you can put your feet up, relax back and enjoy the movies!

We’ve been busy making furniture for a beautiful refurbished home. This sofa with studs was one that went into the sitting room. The Wemyss Houles studs complement this blue and cream herringbone fabric from G P and J Baker really well.

The style of this corner sofa is simple but stylish with metal legs and lots of comfortable feather filled cushions. It’s upholstered in a soft Romo Linen in a great colour which is practical and on trend. We made it for another beautifully refurbished property in a fashionable Birmingham suburb.
